Assets are tracked manually with basic “check in/check out” system. This leads to lost assets, unauthorized use, and lack of asset availability.
Goals and Objectives
The asset tracking use case is to enable insight to where mobile equipment, tools, and materials are across the operation. This is particularly focused on mobile equipment but can include semi-fixed assets and test equipment. An example is real-time production vehicle tracking.
