Current Situation
Learning impact is typically measured by participation and test/paper grades. The impact of teacher, teacher style, and assets used is insufficiently analyzed. Faculty often have little information about individual students prior to engaging them in class.
Goals and Objectives
The analysis of learning impact allows organizations to effectively target learning programs at populations with greatest needs and to continuously improve, using available data both to help individual students and to improve the overall pedagogical approach as well.
Technology Deployed
Cloud, big data analytics, AI, advanced BI, and student information systems
Use Case Summary
Real-time learning impact will monitor student’s educational pathway, identify achievement gaps, and suggest remediation alternatives. The system should provide forecasting abilities, as well as use AI to suggest courses, activities, or learning needs per student to faculty. The system should track outcomes of interventions and pedagogical approaches.
