Current Situation

Currently, options for taking receipt of items purchased are mostly limited to a store purchase or home delivery and conducted in a time frame that is suitable to the seller.

Goals and Objectives

The goal of this use case is to offer more delivery and/or pickup options, including self service, for increased flexibility, lower costs, and reduced time in transit.

Technology Deployed

IoT, traceability, mobile devices, AI, analytics/reporting, integration to core ERP, WMS, and TMS.

 

 

 

 

Use Case Summary

Omni-channel distribution creates a seamless and more satisfying customer experience by providing more pickup and delivery options (i.e., stores, lockers, Uber), ensuring receipt of the correct products in the desired time frame.
